Thank You in Advance for your Donation. No amount is too small, and I ask you donate only what you are comfortable with giving.
The least enjoyable part of running for office is asking for money. That being said, it is a necessary part of the job, and income is needed for fees and costs associated with participation in CityFest, Parades, the making of Posters, Yard Signs, & Banners, and much more...
I am running a minimalist campaign, utilizing every dollar donated and not holding elaborate fundraisers and such, so every dollar you can donate will be greatly appreciated and put to good use. I am well aware of the times and the value of money to your own household budgets, so I am keeping tight control on my campaign funds, (no paid employees...just Family, Friends, and Volunteers).
You can DONATE by clicking on the red link or by scanning the QR Code. Both will take you to a secure website where you can donate to my campaign to run for Council Person at Large for the City of Mentor.
I hope I can count on your VOTE on November 4th!
Again, Thank You For Your Support and Donation,
Barry G. Sneed

Community Bullying Meeting
I attended (and Spoke) at this Community Meeting. Bullying in our Schools is a Big Concern and has been an ongoing issue in the Mentor Schools since I attended Shore Jr. High some time ago. It was a good meeting, although, as a teacher, it was heartbreaking to hear the stories of what some students are subjected to on a daily basis in our schools.

I, myself was a victim of bullying while attending Shore Jr. High in Mentor so I know first hands what these students go through, only it's worse today as the bullying doesn't end with the school day but continues on over the internet with cyber bullying. Students should feel SAFE at school, and there needs to be a comprehensive plan to make it so for ALL students. I believe that between the community's individuals who I met at this meeting, the School Board, City Council and the Mentor Police Department, our schools can be safe environments where all students feel respected and safe to learn!
